Our new look Article Alley is almost complete – we have now re-designed our blog and wiki area – its 95% complete just a few more tweaks here and there and we are done.

The new design has been well received and we are getting favourable comments from our regulars. We are glad you like it!

Checking Google blog search today, I notice that there are now over 90,000 references to Article Alley in the blogosphere. Thats some going! A lot of entries seem to be using the Google owned blogger – not sure if that reflects a bias on Google to their own blogger product, or just the fact that its easier to setup and configure than WordPress.

Anyways I don’t think it matters so much which blogging platform publishers use, just the relative number of posts per day – we seem to be attracting around 100 per week.

We have been working on a new project for the last couple of months, it still has rough edges and a lot of functionality to add, but our new travel social network, blog and forum site is live.

Our aim is to replicate our experience with Article Alley but in a travel niche, content from our travel section will feature on the site, together with travel promotion discussions and in time a booking service.

ArticleAlley is currently undergoing a revamp at the moment, and as part of this we have added this blog, we will post regularly on issues affecting our authors, frequently asked questions and features under development.

ArticleAlley has grown hugely since we went live in early 2005, on a typical day we can get close to 2,000 article posts, we have a full time in house team of four now, we alternate between, editing, authoring and promoting the site.

We have many new features going live in the new year.
